I'll try to come up with a caption if the prize changes to the Fat Trout Single Malt...

Pete you might have hit on the best way ever to promote a blog. Free Scotch!

I'll bring a bottle to the next gathering of the clans.

Trying to think of a good caption anyhows but can't come up with anything.

Well the picture itself doesn't really seem to evoke great swells of humorous creativity. Might not have been the best choice for a caption contest. Let me know if you don't have the DVD already because so far you are in the lead.

Maybe if it had a guy with a sign that said, "will carve for gas?"

Maybe if it were a salmon holding a bottle of single milt scotch? Now that would be funny.

I'm tempted to write something insightful about gas prices rising faster than a trout after a drake, but actually wanted to say that -- after meeting her -- your Lovely & Talented Trophy Wife really is too good for you.

Just saying is all.

Hmmm my wife just told me that Tom was her favorite blogger...

I can't argue with you though. I am reminded that I married above my station every day. Better to be lucky than good I always say!

Pete wins. The wife was pretty set on Tom winning but I disqualifed him becuase he flattered the judge too much (although he was correct to do so). It came down to the number of fish each person has put me on in the last year or so. While Tom managed to consume a few free beers with me in Denver and I do owe him for getting him lost - Pete gave up the Peacock Bass honey hole in front of the Drug Store. And Tom just gave away a copy of the same DVD on his excellent blog.
