Mallory Martin - N.C. Regional Fisheries Supervisor

Mallory Martin is the Regional fisheries supervisor with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission and enjoys fly fishing. He is also the guy who administers North Carolina's trout program.

“There are a lot of challenges. The most frustrating is there are not easy solutions to complex resource management problems,” he said. “For example, balancing development in the mountain region against the need for habitat for aquatic species. The wild brook trout population is under a lot of stress due to the loss of habitat.”
