Fly Tying Video: Dick Talleur ties the "Beetleator"

Famous fly tyer Dick Talleur took the time to sit down with our Captain Paul Rose and tie up an innovative fly pattern known as "The Beetleator." Unlike I would have done, Paul refrains from using the phrase "I'll be baaaaack" at any time during the interview.

(Editor's note: Due to the size and length of these video's they are not hosted on our Youtube channel but rather through Viddler.com)

Did you know Dick is fluent in Russian, guided American anglers in Russia and ran a Thailand fly factory. I have known Dick for a few yrs now from the fly shows. It is always a pleasure to discusss his adventures and travels. He is in the process of designing a few carp patterns to try this summer with me for tailing carp. The beetle fly is going to be deadly on sight fishing for largemouth. Capt. Paul
