Tuesday is Panfish Day

The Southeast has been cooking under three digit temps for the past few days and the trout are stressed. This makes us appreciate that heartiest of fly rod quarry, the panfish.
Perhaps we should name The BlueGill Restaurant in Mobile, Alabama the official panfish named eating establishment of FlyfishMagazine.com? With the laggy Hampton Inn internet service I couldn't tell if they actually serve their namesake on the menu.
Here's a link to a Dan Kibler article in the Greensboro News Record in praise of Bream.
