While looking through some photos I found this picture of my brother in law Richard and remembered when he introduced me to the world of fly fishing. I struggled for months to figure out how to catch fish and what flies to use in certain conditions. I eventually got the hang of it and learned to love the challenge of reading the rivers and landing rainbows and browns on a fly rod. There are many ways to speed up the process and I found one that I think could certainly help someone that is new to the sport. I found some information on flyfishing.about.com that covers topics from how to fish high water to fishing in the wind. If you are new to fly fishing or just need a refresher course, check them out and see what you can find.
