Ehh...What's Up Doc?


Two UK scientists have developed a new material derived from carrots that that is being touted as an environmentally friendly replacement for carbon fiber.
Marketed under the trade name Curran TM, the product has been designed to replace carbon and glass fibre, in everything from fishing rods to car parts.
Your next fly rod just might be orange and come from a root vegetable. (Link via the Herald)
