Middle Tennessee trout angler and Flyfishmagazine.com contributor, Jay Moore, has now added fly tying to his long list of fishing abilities. Jay took an interest in tying earlier this year while on one of our fishing trips to the Watauga tailwater. This photo shows a few of Jay's first attempts at fly tying.
These "first attempts" look much better than most of my "current attempts" so it looks like Jay is going to have a lot of success with his new hobby. I have already put in my order for a few dozen soft hackles and midges.
