Here is a story about the one that didn't get away but I am sure this angler wishes it had. An angler in Lawrence, Kansas was fishing at a local lake when he hooked something big. In fact he had caught a 20 pound pipe bomb with three propane tanks attached to the outside with duct tape. He alerted the local bomb squad who disposed of it right away. Some folks surmise that the bomb was part of a poacher's attempt at a bit of explosive fishing that didn't quite work out. Luckily no one was hurt. Sadly the angler didn't get to have his trophy mounted as it was blown up by the local bomb disposal unit.
