Golf Course Fly Fishing - He Caught Fore!

The New York Times has an article about something I have often wanted to try but was never real sure what the procedure would be to make it happen, fly fishing in the water hazards on golf courses. Being a casual golfer and a serious fly fisherman I often gaze longingly at the gurgling rises that one often sees in those under fished ponds on the links. The author has a good outlook of the risks one takes to fish these waters: "And if I'm knocked unconscious by a shanked golf ball while fighting him in, and end up in a persistent vegetative state, well, I suppose there are worse ways to go." I wonder how you would do with a white sphere shaped fly.
