A Big Month For Record Fish

So Far September and October have been big months for record fish around these parts. On the fly or not we always like to hear about the big ones that don't get away. Here are a few highlights:

12 year old Robert Womack reeled in a N.C. state record Green Sunfish (10 inchs, 15 ounces).

Brian Newberger set a new N.C. state record for Flathead Catfish ( 78 lbs, 52 inches).

Burnesville, N.C. angler, Bryan Butner reels in a S.C. unofficial record for Tarpon from a pier (150 lb's estimated since he released it without weighing it).

High school Junior, Jesse Lockowitz set a N.C. state record for tarpon from a pier with his catch of 175 lbs.
