Fly Show Observations
Richard Formato of the Roanoke Times writes about his thoughts about the Charlotte, N.C. fly show. He makes one point that has always perplexed me. Why do people going to a fly fishing show feel compelled to wear their fishing clothes?
"Loping around the entrance, fly fishing show attendees are a pretty easy crowd to spot. Who else wears just a Columbia TFG shirt on a windy winter day?"
I think that I will show up to next year's show wearing my vest and chest waders.
