Gear: Ross Reels Ltd. Edition Fly Reels

We are pleased to announce the upcoming availability of an exclusive, limited edition series of Momentum LT fly reels with a Tarpon photographic finish. All reels will be custom engraved with a special edition number. The finish of these reels is like nothing you have seen before! Once the reels have been anodized, a photographic image is then applied to each reel with a proprietary process. The photograph is actually absorbed into the anodized aluminum, providing incredible graphics and a finish that is more durable than anodize alone. It really is quite amazing! The special series is being produced in limited numbers and will be available in early August. Contact your local Ross dealer to place your order today.

Gear: Marlin Wear for Humans not Marlin

First there was men's wear, then came lady's wear and now there is Marlin wear. We found this excellent logo via some new friends on twitter who pointed out the Marlin Wear Online store. A great way to fly your Pelagic flag. Our only suggestion would be larger logos on some of the shirts.

Gear: Because Warm Beverages Are No Fun...

You can never have enough can coozies. The folks behind Flying Fisherman Sunglasses and Sportswear are branching out and selling can coolers with fish on them. Obviously they have determined that drinking, and more importantly drinking properly chilled beverages, is of interest to anglers. They have also managed to come up with an innovative new marketing idea - the coozie six pack.
They're also offered in a somewhat unique package idea -- assorted 6-packs. The blister packs have 6 assorted fresh water or salt water designs. The 6- packs are a hit. You buy beer or soda in a 6 pack...why not coolie cups to go with them, said Pat Sheldon, company president. The packaging is an eye catcher on the shelf, not something you see every day, and it's a practical purchase.
