Gill Net Ban in North Carolina!

It's happening! It's really happening! They will enact a temporary gillnet ban for much of NC's coast beginning in May and lasting until December.

Yep, the sport fishermen that think they know everything are finally gonna get everything they want. This is the first step to killing N.C.'s entire commercial fishing industry. You're in the anti's back pocket and don't even know it.

Don't worry, once they do away with commercial fishing they'll come after you. I don't want to hear you crying then when they talk about bluefish and others that you use unnecessary stainless leaders on that they break and starve to death cuz they can't get the hook out of their mouth, among other things.

Also, don't start crying when you stop at the local fish market and they're charging double the wild price for farmed fish from asia cuz the commercial fishermen aren't allowed to catch'em anymore.

Oh, don't worry either about everybody you're putting out of a job cuz they can't catch enough fish anymore.
