Michael Mauri: Rodless Fly Casting
This might just start a whole new revolution in the world of fly fishing.
This guy could cast so good that I dropped $25 for the DVD. Soon you will see me doing Snap T's, CAD, and voodoo casts on our local streams. It should be fun because most of our local streams are about three feet wide.

I believe that's an old Lefty Kreh trick.
still neat to watch, though.
Darn those Germans, ripping off Lefty!

Sure, we won't need fly rods any more, but pretty soon loose-jointed casting jackets will cost $750....
TC,
I agree, and there will probably be a group of anglers who fish nothing but natural fibers....
Umm...?, exactly what's new about this demonstration. Not to say he doesn't show skill. He's just using a much shorter flyrod with his double hall.
I just tought it was a cool trick.
