Christmas is almost upon us and even more importantly the last day to order for delivery by Christmas Eve is even closer still. In case you are having difficulty deciding on what to buy that angler in your life, we wanted to let you know that the Flyfishmagazine.com 2006 holiday gift guide will be released tomorrow to members of our mailing list and then on Thursday to the rest of our readers.The gift guide is the painstaking result of a highly scientific process whereby we ask our contributing editors to sober up and pick three gift items that have caught their bloodshot eyes this holiday season. As predicted when we started this process no two of our contributors picked the same item. You might especially find it interesting (or disturbing) to note that there was not a fly rod or reel in the lot. Even the ESU (Editorial Spousal Unit) decided to get into the act and make a selection or two for this years guide.
