Fishing Elk Creek
Yesterday, my Dad and I took advantage of an invitation to fish with some members of the Elk Creek fishing club on their private water located on the North Carolina, Tennessee line. It was cold, wet, and windy and we had a great day on the water. The fish didn't respond well to small nymphs and emergers, so we broke out the buggers and fished them heavy and deep. It worked like a charm. One hungry 14 inch rainbow trout swallowed a three inch long zonker whole!
