AEG Fly Fishing Film Tour 2007
Trout Bum Ryan Davey of the Angling Exploration Group sends us this press release about their upcomming film tour Presented by Fly Rod and Reel magazine. We are a bit bummed that there is currently no Carolina stop on the film tour (nor many East Coast stops at all) but we might still consider a trek to the Tampa, Florida event. The press release follows:
The Fly Fishing Film Tour is coming to a theater near you this winter. We’ll be screening a fast-paced highlight reel of some of the top films from various fly fishing filmmakers in the categories of adventure, conservation, and entertainment…
This years tour is presented by Fly Rod and Reel magazine. Our 2007 sponsors include Costa Del Mar, Patagonia, Scientific Anglers, Loop, Korkers, Brunton, Defeet, and more to be announced shortly…
The Fly Fishing Film Tour will kick off in Ventura, California at the Patagonia World Headquarters on January 12th, 2007. We’ll visit over thirty cities nationwide to end the tour in Anchorage, Alaska at the Performing Arts Center on March 23rd, 2007.
Our entertainment will includes highlights from films by AEG Media, Feltsoul Media, Howard Films, The Drake Mag, and Beattie Outdoor Productions… This tour will also be the first official screening of a special edition of the Angling Exploration Group’s new feature film, The Trout Bum Diaries, Kiwi Camo.
We’ll be giving away a ton of free gear at each event and enter a raffle for the big tour-end giveaway for a shot at boats, rods, and more…
