No Service

For the next three days I will be taking part in some much needed Father/Son R&R as we visit the Flyfishmagazine.com Base Camp (read as: 1970 something Prowler Camper) located on the Cherokee Indian Reservation in the remote mountains of North Carolina (remote as in: you can't see the casino from the camp).

The Flyfishmagazine.com base camp is sort of like Gilligan's island in that there are no phones, no lights, no motor cars, not a single luxury....Ok so I suppose I tend to get a bit carried away when I talk about the base camp. While there actually are no phones, we do have lights and even air conditioning and I will have the Isuzu Trooper to get around in. But there is positively no high speed internet access at base camp so I will resume posting next week. For now get your fill of fly fishing goodness by visiting the links on the right hand side of this page.
