Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This...

AmericanHeritage.com used this as their picture of the day recently. I think we have all felt this way at one time or another when a bit of fly fishing frustration takes hold. This picture entitled Irvin Cobb goes fishing was published in the Saturday Evening Post in October of 1916. One quote from the article tells the tale:

“When I cast, I require a larger body of water. . . . Lake Erie might do.”
