Hugh Koontz of the Shelby Star Online in Shelby, North Carolina writes about Leah Johnson who caught a 20 pound 3 ounce Rainbow Trout that should be a new state record. Mr. Koontz did not put a picture of the behemoth in the article but I intend to drop him a line asking if I can see it.
One of our favorite past times is reading Hugh's articles to see what new analogies he comes up with. He must have been truly stunned by the size of the trout in the article as this was seemingly all he could muster:
"a girl in tattered jeans holding a rainbow trout that was bigger than last Thanksgiving's butterball turkey."
