The PA Fish and Boat Commission has selected Ned Smith's print, "The Sting of the Hook" as the basis for its 2006 Trout / Salmon stamp. The print shows a very nice looking Brook Trout that has just learned that there is something very different about the bug that he just ate. The state of Pennsylvania is working to transition from a paper based license system to an electronic one, so this could very well be the last year that fishing licenses double has works of art.
