Martin Mohawk River Fly Reel reviewed at TackleTour
TackleTour.com has reviewed The Mohawk River fly reel by Martin Fly Fishing. Here is what they had to say about Martin's top of the line fly reel. "The Mohawk River MR34 is a nice compact and lightweight 3wt reel that looks good, is well balanced, performs well for a variety of nymphing and dry fly applications, and best of all comes with an incredibly low price tag of under $60." While Martin may seem to have been left out of the higher end reel market in recent years. They have always been known to make quality equipment. My first fly reel was a Martin automatic and it is nice to see them putting out some affordable and good looking machined aluminum reels.
