Tennessee Tailwater..Caney Fork River
This weekend my day job required me to visit Cookeville, TN for some inventory counting. I did not get time to fish but did manage to hang out with fellow fly angler, co-worker, and regular fishing report contributor, Jay Moore. Jay told me about a tailwater in the area known as the Caney Fork River and I even managed to get a look at it while driving down I-40 on my way to the airport. Here is some information about the fishery via GORP. I had to promised Jay not to give away all his secret fishing holes on the Caney Fork and he agreed to take me fishing on it the next time I make it to town. According to Jay this is a great place to fish. I plan to find out for myself in December.
