Being your ever hard working editor, I have found what appears to be another excellent deal. A Sage LE Series Fly Rod for less that a hundred bucks. A four weight, nine foot, two piece rod is selling for $99.99 at www.westernsportshop.com. The cheapest I could find it anywhere else was about $130.00. Sage is discontinuing this series of rods.
Sage describes this rod as having a medium fast action. It looks like this this company has several other weights to choose from.
If only the wife would let me buy another fly rod to go with the five I have in the garage....
